ALE Server License

ALE Server is released under a multi-license model, giving you the flexibility to choose the license that fits your needs best. Each license should only be used in specific situations; the open source license is most appropriate for use in-house or when distributed royalty-free, while the more flexible commercial licenses allow modification and resale. Each license has differing terms and conditions. The open source license is released under the OSI approved Sleepycat structure. To view the terms of the Sleepycat license, click here. For Open Source Projects
Organizations developing and distributing open source applications under the Sleepycat License are free to use ALE Server provided they meet all of the terms & requirements of the license.

If your organization wishes to develop or distribute open source applications under another license, please contact us regarding a modified license.
For In-House Testing, Pilot Projects and Full Deployments
